Removal of my Lump

In my previous entry, i stated that i had a lump.

Last Thursday (31 Jan 08) a day after the global seminar in college east, i had it removed by surgery.

i wasn't fully unconscious because i chose LA (local anesthetics or sumthin), it just numb the part where it has to be operated. oh ya, it's just day surgery, no biggie.

ok before i continue, i should remind u guys i have a phobia of blood, needles, pain, other than my phobia of clowns and butterflies.

So i was asked to dress in the operation clothes and all before being pushed to the operating theater.

I was asked what's my name and ic many3 times even tho it's stated in the wrist tag. to make sure i'm the right person.

then came the time i was pushed into the operating room.

like Grey's Anatomy tau.

first, they covered me with all the green cloth put all the neccesarry apparatus after i transfer onto the operating bed which is like soooo narrow. then they had this bar over my neck, i thought for hanging tubes an all but it was actually to hang a green cloth there so that i cldnt see how they cut me etc. THANK GOD. then, they washed their hands and wear their operating clothes for each other.

see, i told u, like grey's anatomy right.

i quickly told the surgeon to warn me 1st before injecting me. and she did.

WAH PIANG! SO PAINFUL! GAHHH!!!

and so i cried. WHAT? CANT BE HELPED, RIGHT? SHEESH.

when i tot it's over, she said "ok again ok?"

i was like "huh again?!" it hurt so bad so i cried again but i cried for like 10 seconds only ok! there was another surgeon standing beside me, he coaxed me and tried to talk to me to distract me which didnt work.

and he was like "tissue! tissue!" lol.. i imagined he was George o'malley. lol. i like george.

anyway, she warned me before cutting me up and i felt like many needles poking i think it's because the LA havent worked yet. but after that it was ok. i felt tugging and pulling and like 10 mins later she said she's gonna stitch me up. i saw the thread when she's stitching me.

during the operation, all the surgeons were talking to me mostly about my school. we talked and talked.

after that i was pushed to the recovery room where they monitered me. before they pushed me out, i thanked them profusely. i thanked mr o'malley too *melts* lol. i didnt know there's actually a malay male surgeon there too.

i have 3 stitches i think, im not sure coz it's still covered in a huge plaster and it still hurts.

4th feb, im have to peel the plaster off my skin and im gona see the stitches. hope i dont faint. lol. not lembek, phobia laaaa.

anyway. my adk2 hit that spot for 3 times accidentally. i hope nothing happens.

i got 1 wk mc!

1 small cyst, 6 surgeons.

and next week i have to return to CGH to check my results, what it actually is. so till then, see u soon!
